I have been providing counseling and psychotherapy services in the Minneapolis and St Paul communities for over 25 years. I'll provide a safe, yet challenging environment where you can explore areas of your life that are difficult or may block you from where you want to be. I will help you capitalize on your strengths and assist you in gaining a better understanding of your difficulties. Ultimately, we can discover together what works best for you in creating a more satisfying life.
Deciding to seek help is an important step in the life of an individual. People enter psychotherapy for many different reasons, anger, anxiety, relationship issues and some are not exactly sure what is not feeling right to them. Sometimes people need to focus on issues that continue to be problematic in spite of previous therapy and personal efforts. Seeking out psychotherapy is the first step toward not just symptom relief, but to help gain greater emotional awareness in order to better fulfill ones needs and to increase life satisfaction.
No two people are ever alike, so getting to know each person is an important part in the counseling relationship. I strive to provide the help people need, to grow toward their potential.
